Katelyn Ohashi 

What happens after the sport? For Katelyn Ohashi, the answer was poetry. This editorial explored Katelyn's life beyond gymnastics, a new wave, a new identity, a new way of moving through the world. Known globally for her viral floor routine, Katelyn stepped away from competitive gymnastics and into something quieter and more personal. Poetry became her new language for self-expression, and this project followed her there.

The creative was part of a broader Nike Women initiative focused on women beyond sport,  honoring the full complexity of an athlete's life, not just their performance. I developed the art direction and directed content capture, working closely with copy and the film editor to ensure the visual narrative and written story felt unified across Nike App and Nike.com. The tone had to match Katelyn's own voice, thoughtful, honest, and unhurried.
