INFORMATION
My name is Annie Nguyen and I currently reside in Los Angeles, CA where I work as an art director for a marketing company. I graduated with my Bachelors in Fine Arts in Design and have spent many years in marketing and advertising. My main areas of focus are branding, identity, marketing strategies, and product consulting. I also dabble in front end development and minor coding. (HTML, CSS, Java.)
I have an avid interest in music. For a year and a half, I was involved with KTUH Honolulu, non-profit radio station, where I learned a bit of sound production. While I was at KTUH, I also worked on branding and event activation. I continue to participate in the station whenever I am in Hawaii. My love of music prompted me to join my friends in creating Space&Sound, a music and art collective that began in Honolulu, HI, now turned into an online platform. We conduct interviews with artists, produce content, release music, and produce products.
When I'm not working or writing about music, I am a hobbyist photographer. I have strong passion for architecture, fashion, and designer products and spend much of my free time documenting such things. My photographs have been featured by fashion brands, e-commerce sites and have allowed me the opportunity to work with upcoming brands. Examples can be seen here.
